Mother Moon Scholarship

The McDonough County United Way would like to extend it's deepest gratitude to Ike Leighty , as benefactor of the Mother Moon Scholarship.  We would also like to congratulate the 2011 winners:

Jill Greuel, daughter to Lisa and Paul Butterfield and Mark Greuel.

From Bushnell-Prairie City High School:

Lauren Settles, daughter to Brad and Sonja Settles

Kaity Vancil, daughter to Jeffrey and Pamela Vancil

These students were selected as winners, based on their selfless committment to service to others.  The students were recognized at a reception at Macomb City Hall on Tuesday, May 10th.  Mr. Leighty, along with John Moon, were on hand to meet the students. 

Thank You Card Project

The students at Lincoln and Edison Elementary schools in Macomb have been working on designing the Thank You Cards United Way will be using this fall.  Thank you to Art teachers Mary Gettinger and Luan Sanner for your assistance and creativity!!
